Forza Horizon 4 is the best, most fun racing game out there. A racing game where everyone has a place. Stunning graphics ( I play on Xbox One X), fun to play, car sounds, car handling and races. The introduction of dynamic weather and changing seasons gave the game more life. Weather changes everything from car handling during races. I am glad I bought Ultimate Edition of this game. When my Series X arrived on release day, this was the first game I booted up and I’ve been having a blast with it ever since. The cars and scenery are beautiful, and the game is packed full of cars and content so you always have something new to experience. If I had to give any criticism, it would be that I have had some trouble getting a decent number of players to connect to multiplayer races, so after a while I give up and just play the races solo against the AI. Overall I highly recommend the game if you want a more arcade experience than Forza Motorsport and want to see the beautiful 4K graphics and 60 FPS that next gen can offer. Plus, being free with GamePass feels like highway robbery!

After a bit too conservative Forza Horizon 3, which was just an improved second Horizon, the latest game in the series easily exceeded my expectations. Its world is enormous and full of various activities (including seasonal events), the driving model is exceptional both on and off road, there are over 450 varied cars and the PC version is spectacular. All that makes Forza Horizon 4 the best open world racing game I have ever played.

Again a little bit better and not because of continuity, but because of two years worth of obvious work. Thanks to that you can drown dozens or hundreds of hours racing on the ground that gave the world Jeremy Clarkson. And yeah, it has a couple of good cars too.

A AAA game produced in 2018 with the backing of Microsoft simply should be far more technically sound than Forza Horizon 4 in its current state. And this perhaps is the greatest travesty for this otherwise brilliant game.

Playground Games has managed to deliver the best arcade games over the last decade and with Forza Horizon 4 proves it once again. It's a must for all Xbox One owners.

Forza Horizon 4 might be a bit conservative. Apart from the continuously changing seasons and the amazing British landscapes, you could call this a new version of Forza Horizon 3.

Forza Horizon 4 is nothing short of fantastic. With a host of content, backed by a fantastic roster of cars that tread the fine line between arcade and simulation perfectly. While the amalgamated UK may be a little too pristine, not completely reflecting reality, it's such a stunning and enjoyable place to race around that any issues are washed away in the utter fun you're having. Forza Horizon 4 is, without a shadow of a doubt, the pinnacle of the series and arguably the best racing game you can buy.

Building upon everything that has continued to mark out the Forza Horizon series as something special and unique its own right - beyond being Forza Motorsport's carefree sibling - Forza Horizon 4 demonstrates once again just how recklessly entertaining driving roughshod across an open environment can be. Revelling in what makes Britain great, Forza Horizon 4 also proves once more that Playground Games is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to delivering a polished, deep, and thrilling open-world racing experience.

Forza Horizon 4 is likely the best looking and most robust game in the series, even if Forza fatigue is beginning to set in with only slight changes to the established formula in this release.

It changes the game beyond visual sheen and charges players with new ways to think about races; about their cars or their car setups (if you’re so inclined). It makes the racing even more visceral this time around, which when you consider the heritage here, is no small feat.

Playground Games managed to improve on an already almost perfect formula, adding even more modes and freedom for the players, with gorgeous visuals and the added variety of season changes in a shared world. Simply the best, prettiest and most content-filled arcade racer around. A must buy for everyone.
